This one-of-a-kind handmade stoneware mug features a hand carved botanical design created using the traditional sgraffito technique and is fully microwave and dishwasher safe for everyday use.
Each mug is created by hand in my little Pennsylvania home studio. The design is carved directly into the clay surface, revealing the natural clay beneath layered glaze and creating detailed texture and depth throughout the piece.
Inspired by real Pennsylvania plants and natural woodland forms that I personally gather and study, each mug reflects the quiet textures and patterns of the landscape.
Because every mug is individually crafted from start to finish, no two will ever be identical. This piece is completely one of a kind and designed for everyday coffee or tea while still feeling like a small piece of handmade art.
