This handmade stoneware mug was carefully made and hand-carved in my little home studio. The botanical design wraps around the mug with detailed carved ferns, cosmos blooms, and sunflower motifs, each individually hand-carved and painted using the traditional sgraffito method.
Every plant used as inspiration comes from real Pennsylvania greenery that I've gathered and studied, making each piece a small reflection of the natural landscape.
Because each mug is carved individually, this piece is completely one of a kind and cannot be exactly duplicated.
